Rawat BHUPENDRA SINGHJI, 19th and present Rawat Sahib of Bansi (Bansi Palace, Distt. Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, India), married a Kumari of the Bakasur family.
History
The estate was granted to Rawat Achal Das, younger son of Maharaj Shakta, 1st Rawat of Bhindar. It is one of the sixteen First Class umrao thikanas of the house of Mewar and was named Baansi due to the abundance of bamboo (called Bans in Hindi) found there. It is situated 94 kms from Udaipur City and 78 kms South west of Chittorgarh.
