Rao HIMMAT SINGH BEDLA,, First Class noble of Udaipur, 18th and present Rao Saheb of Bedla. born , educated at Mayo College, Ajmer and graduated from Rajasthan University, Jaipur; he is a renowned polo player of the country; married 2009, Rani Saheba Manisha Bedla, daughter of Captain Shri Kuldeep Singhji Solanki of Balana in Marwar, Rajasthan, and grand-daughter of Colonel Shri Girdhari Singhji Solanki (A.V.S.M.).
History
The ancestor of the family was Rao Chandrabhan Chauhan, who aided Maharana Sangram Singh of Udaipur, and was killed in battle in 1527 at Khanwa. For his support his descendants were granted the Jagir of Bedla.
