Deodar is a town and Princely State in the Deodar Taluka of the Banaskantha district in Gujarat, Western India. The family are descendants of Maharajadhiraja Karandev, HH Maharaja of Gujarat. Deodar State, modern Diyodar, was equally split between two ruling branches of the same family of Vaghela Rajputs.
- The senior branch was a state with magisterial powers, controlling around 91 villages and 1 town in the year 1941 (population: 2,425). Chief of the senior branch in 1926 was Khanji, son of Anandsingh (succ. 8 September 1902).
- The junior branch was located in the Banas Division, which was a part of the Sabar Kantha Agency. The territory consisted of 16 swang and 3 co-shared villages (population: 3,612). Chief of the junior branch was Himatsingh.
