History
Rawat of Kanore is a Sisodia Rajput of the Sarangdevot sub-clan. Kanore, a fief of Mewar (Udaipur), was granted to Ajja, son of Maharana Lakha. It was one amongst Solah Umraos (first grade of nobles) of Mewar.
