History

MAHARAJ KI NETAWAL is first class thikana of House of Mewar. It is situated near Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The estate was granted to Maharaj Shri Surat Singh Ji Sahib, second son of Maharaj Shri Nath Singh Ji of Bagore. Maharaj Nath Singh Ji was the second son of The Maharana Sangram Singh Ji II of Mewar Royal family. The eldest son was granted the gaddi of Mewar while second son was granted the estate of Bagore. Netawal Jagir was re-granted to Maharaj Shiv Singh Ji, great grand son of Maharaj Nath Singh Ji of Bagore in 1840 A.D.
