He died vs 1656 in a battle against the Ajmer Subayat.

  • Rao Bahadur Thakur Bijay Singh [VIJAY SINGH], 15th Thakur of Rian 1878/-, born or 1872, educated at Mayo College, Ajmer, appointed Joint Judge and Court Sardaran in 1904 and Officiating Superintendent in 1905, Member of the Council (Jodhpur) 1903/- ; he was related to the families of Bikharnia, Bijathal and Dobri; married (as his third wife) Thakuranisa Rani Saheba Deoriji [Rajmata Majisa Deorisa], an extremely beautiful Deora-Chauhan Rajput pious lady much younger to him in age, well known for having donated all her movable and immovable properties for upliftment of masses and social causes including setting up of Rajput Boys’ Hostel at Rian House in Jodhpur and performing marriage ceremonies of several girls. He died sp. on 9th January 1930 whereupon she vowed not to step out of the fort till she turns old as a sign of purity and she generously donated most of her properties for public welfare, including precious ornaments for marriages of girls, welfare funds, houses for charitable purposes and religious cum pious donations.
    • (A) Kunwar Kundan Singh, third son of Thakur Saheb of Dobri and his wife, a Kumbhawat/Kanawat Baisa of Amarpura; he assisted Rian Queen in management of her estates, and was adopted by her, but on some legal technicalities a Kunwar Ji of Maidas challenged the same claiming superior right to succession and won the case. He married younger daughter of Khangarot Thakur Sahib of Bhadwa in Jaipur (see Jobner), and had issue, 5 daughters.
      • Baisa Nayan Kanwar, married Rao Narayan Singh Khangarot, Thakur Sahib of Sakhoon.
      • Baisa Kaushalya Kanwar, Rani Deorisa of Rian got her married into Jadawata, and gave numerous precious ornaments.
      • Baisa Gokul Kanwar, married Thakur Madan Singh of Mahala (see Bagru).
      • Baisa Nonand Kanwar, married Kunwar Gopal Singh of Kalwar.
      • Baisa Buddh Kanwar, married Kunwar Tej Singh of Kalwar.
  • Interregnum 1930/1938, the previous Thakur left no Heir, the claim of the adoptive son of the Queen Mother was challenged in Court by Kunwar Ganpat Singh of Maidas and the question of succession was under enquiry/sub-judice.
  • Thakur Ganpat Singh, Thakur of Rian 1938/-, born as Kunwar Ganpat Singh of Maidas, elder son of Thakur Ranjit Singh of Maidas, although he was not adopted in January 1930 but after Court Order got installed on the gaddi in 1938, educated at Mayo College, Ajmer; married 1936, the grand-daughter of Raja Sajan Singh Shekhawat of Khandela in Jaipur.
