History
Sevayi was founded by Vijayi Singh who along with his elder brothers were Generals under Shri Thakur Saheb Lal Ranmat Singh Ji of Baderi and came to conquer fortress of Baderi from Lodhi (Malgujars) dynasty. He defeated and vanquished the Lodhis. As his patrimony, Lal Ranmat Singh Ji granted Pawai of Sewai village to his victorious brother Kunwar Vijayi Singh Baghel. He also got the title "Lal" by his elder brother.
