Rao RAJENDRA SINGH, B.A Hons., present Rao Saheb of Shahpura since 24th June 1974. (Shahpura House, A-24, Bhairu Marg, Hanuman Nagar, Khatipura, Jaipur, Rajasthan), born in Shahpura. He is the Head of all the Shekhawats. He was MLA in the 12th and presently the 13th Vidbhan Sabha (Rajasthan) and Vice President for BJP Rajasthan; married 10th December 1980, Rani Bhuvaneshwari Kumari, daughter of Maharaj Shri Daulatsinhji of Nawanagar, and has issue, one son.

History
The predecessor state was known as Manoharpur. Shahpura is the head seat of all the Shekhawats and Rao Sahab is the Head of all the Shekhawats.
Genealogy
- Rao MANOHAR, Rao of Shahpura 1584/1616, granted a mansab of 1000 zat and 600 sawars later increased to 1000 zat and 800 sawars, founder of the Thikana named after himself, Manoharpur, married and had issue. He died in the Deccan.

- Rao PRATAP SINGH Bahadur, Rao of Shahpura 1881/1942, born , son of Thakur Balwant Singh of Garh, he succeded by adoption, he was granted the title of Bahadur by HH Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II of Jaipur, married 1stly, Rani Udawatji of Ras, married 2ndly, Rani Hadiji of Ratangarh, and had issue. He died (18th October 1939).
