            • Kunwar Shahzad Singh, showed gallantry in Mau battle. On some dispute with Rewa, he went to Lahore along with his brothers Rudra Shah and Vijay Bahadur Singh and joined the Sikh army and took part in the Anglo-Sikh war. They were later recalled by Raja Jai Singh of Rewah.

                • Capt. Kunwar Awadesh Pratap Singh, born O ctober 1888, died , served as Major in the Rewah State forces, was a freedom fighter and one of the leading members of the Indian National Congress, served many years in jail during the freedom struggle, Led the indian National Congress to victory in the first general elections of Rewa Princely State called by HH Bandhvesh Maharaja Gulab Singh Ji of Rewah, and became the first popularly elected prime Minister of Rewah State (1946-48), thereafter, became the only Premier of Vindhya Pradesh Province (1948-49), formed from the merger of thirty six princely states of Baghelkhand and Bundelkhand, Chief Minister of Vindhya Pradesh State (1949), Member of the Constituent Assembly of India, Member of the Provisional Parliament, Member of the Rajya Sabha (1952-1960) married Thakurani Maharaj Kumari, and had issue, one son and one daughter.
