Rawat DEVRATH SINGH, 29th and present Rawat Saheb of Salumber since the 27th May 2002, studied at MMPS (Udaipur) and worked in heritage hospitality at Jagat Niwas and Deogarh Mahal as Front Office Manager and Food & Beverages Manager; lately he has returned with rich work experience to look after his ancestral farms.
History
Salumbar is a major town southeast of Udaipur, it was the estate of Kunwar Khandal Singh, who, with the title of 'Rawat', held first rank amongst the nobles of Mewar (the First 16 Umraos), it later became the capital of the Chundawat clan.

Worked as the Pre Primary School Incharge in Lucknow and excelled as an Primary teacher, an excellent rider, beautiful homemaker and an self learned agriculturist), and had issue. He died 27th May 2002.
