History
Rulers of Jharia are descendants of Rao Vanir, son of Rao Kandhal of Rawatsar. The Chief is the premiere noble of Bikaner State and enjoys Dohri Tazim and Kurab Hath in Bikaner Darbar, the estate was granted to Thakur Saheb Dhirat Singhji son of Thakur Sangram Singhji of Rawatsar by Maharaja Gaj Singhji of Bikaner in 1764 AD and consisted of 12 villages.
